Privacy Policy
Syncipal is a Shopify app that sends tracking information from your fulfilled Shopify orders to PayPal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Store details: your Shopify store domain and the access token Shopify issues when you install, so we can read your orders.
- Order data: order IDs, fulfillment tracking numbers, carrier names, and the payment gateway of each order, so we can tell which orders were paid with PayPal and what tracking to send.
- PayPal connection: when you connect PayPal, we receive a token that lets us submit tracking on your behalf. We never see or store your PayPal password.
- Account settings: your plan, carrier routing rules, and contact email for support.
How we use it
We use this data only to run the service: matching each fulfilled order to its PayPal transaction and sending the tracking number and carrier to PayPal. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services needed to operate Syncipal: Shopify (where your store and orders live), PayPal (where we submit tracking), and our hosting provider. Each receives only what it needs.
Retention and deletion
We keep your order and sync records while the app is installed so your dashboard and history work. When you uninstall, or when Shopify sends a data-erasure request on your behalf, we delete your store's data. You can also email us to request deletion at any time.
